Hypersensitivity to ofloxacin or any member of the quinolone class of antibacterials
This medicine may cause serious allergic reactions, including anaphylaxis, which can be life-threatening and require immediate medical attention. Call your doctor or pharmacist right away if you have a rash, itching, hives, hoarseness, trouble breathing, trouble swallowing, or any swelling of your hands, face, or mouth after you take this medicine.
Phototoxicity reactions may occur; avoid excessive sunlight
Immediately discontinue treatment if CNS adverse effects occur, including psychiatric adverse reactions, or blood glucose disturbances occur and switch to a nonfluoroquinolone antibiotic if possible
Discontinue the drug immediately and avoid use of systemic fluoroquinolones in patients who experience any serious adverse reactions
